Brief Description of this Job

A national accounting, auditing and consulting firm is seeking to employ a Tax Consultant based at our offices in Centurion.

Application Requirements

  • Matric
  • Degree, Honours and or Masters in Taxation
  • Certificate in Taxation
  • Computer Literate
  • Strong technical
  • Knowledge of tax matters Knowledge of statutory rules

Experience

  • At least 5 years working experience in a similar position

Key Responsibilities

  • Consulting to staff and external clients
  • Corresponding with SARS
  • Assisting clients during objections/appeal cases
  • Establishing sound relationships with clients
  • Conducting research and providing opinions on tax related matters in order to provide appropriate high quality service
  • Transfer pricing knowledge essential
  • Double Tax Agreements knowledge
  • Carbon Tax knowledge essential
  • Have done Corporate reorganization transactions
  • In depth knowledge of VAT legislation
  • In depth knowledge of deferred tax
  • In depth knowledge of payroll
  • Responsible for coaching/training the Tax Assistants
  • Billings
  • Attending to VDP applications
  • Attending to Offers of Compromise
